Seriously, it's already the end of May? For one of the first times, I'm very sad this month has ended. The end of May means graduation, my trip to Greece, and going to college is just right at the horizon. Scary! As much as I try to be happy about these changes, I'm so scared. I love how things are right now and I wish it was all permanent because I really think everything is perfect right now. May was a very good month for me. I had a lot of free time, did a lot of shopping, and really got to spend quality time with some people I love. I have to admit, May was very stressful with exams but that's all over now! I'm ready for summer!
I found myself trying/buying a lot of new summer related beauty products. I'm trying to create a solid summer makeup and hair routine and this involves a ton of new favorites I've discovered, some new and some old.
Aussie Miracle Recharge Frizz Remedy: I sometimes feel weird discussing products in a favorites post that I just hauled, but this leave in conditioner completely deserves it. From the very first use I was sold. It really controls my frizz, smells nice, and doesn't leave my hair feeling extra greasy the next day like some other products I've tried. As it gets hotter my hair gets frizzier and I'm certain that this will save me on many occasions.
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs: My skin tone is very fair, especially during this transitional period. My legs have been hidden from skinny jeans and leggings all winter, so naturally this had to be a favorite this month. I am not a huge fan of self-tanners, but this product is more makeup for your legs. It leaves a nice golden color that hides your bruises (super important for me)! It's a nice little kick start tan while I wait for my real tan to develop.
Essie's Plumberry: This nail polish is one of those colors that I totally forget how much I love until I use it. I found myself using this color almost all month long on my nails. It's such a nice red color with a hint of pink tones. I LOVE it. It's a great summer/spring color and probably something that will be featured in many future months.
Rimmel London's Stay Matte Powder: Another product that I just hauled! I take back everything negative I've ever said about translucent powders. I have always stayed away from them because I use to be so self conscious of my skin and just wanted to cover up all my flaws. Ever since I tried the Benefit Big Easy liquid to powder foundation I can't stop using this powder. It really just blurs your imperfections. I also love that it's super cheap!
Tony and Guy Sea Salt Spray: I reccently decided to chop major inches off of my hair. I have been experimenting a lot with how to style my new hair. I have found myself reaching for sea salt spray all month because it's super easy but makes it look like you've just come from the beach. I've tried countless sea salt sprays and so far this one has been my favorite. It doesn't dry out your hair like other sea salt sprays and it also smells really nice! Oh and the best part is, it's super affordable!
Benefit Big Easy: Surprise surprise! Of course this is a favorite. I wrote a whole review about how much I've been loving this product here! It's heaven in a tube, easily the best foundation/bb cream/face product ever. That's not even an exaggeration.
Ray-Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses: Last, but certainly not least, my clubmaster sunglasses. I really thought about doing a whole post about these sunglasses, but I decided that was a bit extreme. These just speak for themselves. I've been wanting these for years and I finally caved and bought them. I love how they fit my face!
