San Francisco | Travel

I can't believe that I've lived in the Bay area for over a year but I've never taken a trip to San Francisco. When I was younger I lived in Southern California and would once in awhile come up north to visit family, but it's not like we went out and explored San Francisco. My boyfriend and I decided it was about time for us to change that. We live only about 40 miles away from San Francisco so we decided to take a quick 24-hour trip. We fully immersed ourselves into the city for those 24 hours and did everything we possibly could. I feel that although we were only there a short period of time we were able to see a little bit of everything. I'm very much a city person and this city had everything to offer. Our hotel was located in this cute hipster part of town where everything around us had so much character. Needless to say, I fell in love with San Francisco.

Our first night was spent at Lands End watching the sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We were lucky enough that the weather was perfect and the skies were clear.

The second day we were in San Francisco we were a little bit more touristy. We spent the afternoon at Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. I could not leave Francisco without eating a bread bowl of clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf.

Our second day came to the end watching the sunset again, but at a different vantage point. Of course you can't spend a day being a tourist in San Francisco and not see the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Usual | OOTD

What a surprise, my outfit is Zara from head to toe. I can't help it! Working there has definitely resulted in my whole wardrobe being from Zara. Sadly it's still very warm in San Jose and we've hardly experienced any fall weather. I just want to bundle up in big sweaters and wear boots!

Summertime Vibes

Shirt Brandy Melville / Shorts Zara / Sunglasses Ray-Ban

This is probably my favorite type of outfit for the summer. It's simple to throw on in the morning and super comfy. Of course this includes pieces from my two favorite stores, Zara and Brandy Melville.

Zara, Zara and more Zara

Shirt Zara / High waist shorts Zara / Shoes Zara (New Collection) / Sunglasses Nordstrom BP

I have a horrible habit of shopping while on the job. This habit has resulted in the vast majority of my clothing being from Zara. I'm obsessed! I finally had a day off and decided to spend the day with my little sister. We never get to see each other now because of work and school. We spent the day shopping and of course, going to a local park to take photos.

LORAC Unzipped Palette | First Look

My impulsive shopping habit has resulted in buying yet another eyeshadow palette. For some reason I always find myself justifying why I need another palette when I already have at least four similar ones at home. As much as my wallet hates this problem of mine, it has resulted in me falling in love all over again with the brand Lorac.
I already own the Lorac pro, which is known to be a cult favorite, but other than that I've never tried any other products from them. When I saw this palette I couldn't help but immediately put it in my basket. The palette is a mix of mattes and shimmer shadows that range from all different shades of brown/pink colors. It really is meant for me and my blue eyes. I've actually owned this for over a month before I decided to review it here only because I really wanted to gather a solid opinion about it.
Let's just say I am absolutely obsessed with this palette. I find myself using this almost daily. It's $42 online or at Sephora or Ulta, which is kind of pricey. The shadows are so pigmented and smooth, just like all of Lorac's eye shadows. As much as I love it I don't think it's really necessary to have if you already have either the Lorac pro or the Naked 3 palette. Those palettes already have really similar colors and because this is on the pricey side, I wouldn't suggest owning all three. However, if you're looking for something new I highly highly recommend!!!

Baby Shower! | OOTD 720

Dress: American Eagle
Sweater: Gap
Shoes: Steve Madden

I come from a huge family. It feels like there is always a new baby on the way, but this is the first time in a very long time I have actually been around to help throw a baby shower! My godmother is having a baby girl and I couldn't be happier to help throw her a Tiffany themed baby shower. I decided to wear a summer dress from American Eagle that I bought ages ago. The restaurant was freezing! There's something about American restaurants, they feel the need to make it feel like the arctic. Lastly, I wore my new Steve Madden flats. These are my favorite because they really remind me of ballet shoes. I'm not a ballerina, but hey! I can pretend. I also wore my tiffany earrings to go with the theme ;) I think everything turned out perfect and everyone had a blast! I really enjoy helping throw big events like this. I decided to include a few photos from the shower because everything turned out lovely.

How beautiful is this cake?! It was just as delicious as it looks!
